Classes begin on Monday, September 9. Children's Group Classes (A-F) and Creative Movement Classes (A-D) will be held up until their performances at the end of May. Company Classes will be held up until their performance in June. Upon enrollment there is a registration fee to reserve the student's place in class. Please see the financial section for more information.
Attendance is recorded. The importance of attending classes cannot be stressed enough! Students progress with consistent attendance. Do not miss class except for valid reasons. The last two classes before the performance of the season are MANDATORY. At the Company Level, (Apprentice, Sophomore, Junior, Senior & Principal), if you miss more than two classes after April 1st, you are not guaranteed to be in the whole dance.
If you need to miss class, please contact Miss Abby or Miss Blythe by email, text, Remind, or Facebook Messenger. Absences are recorded as either excused or unexcused based on notification. Please practice at home and prepare for class ahead of time using the Band App.
Please arrive to class on time. Late arrivals are a distraction, and the warm-up at the beginning of class is crucial as it prepares the body for physical activity. If you arrive late, please wait at the door until the music stops to limit distractions to the other students.
