Showcase Information

All dancers must arrive by 12:00pm. Please arrive already dressed with hair and stage makeup ready for your first number in the show. We recommend wearing the base of your first costume (for example, the leotard and tights without the skirt) with something over it to coverup that may easily be removed (a sweater, jacket, sweatpants, leggings, etc.) as to not mess up hair or makeup until you have arrived and it is time to go backstage and finish getting ready. Please bring all necessary shoes and accessories. Please refer to the show order and the attire section for what you should arrive in.
What to Bring:
- All necessary attire, including costumes, leotards, shoes, tights, and any designated accessories from home or provided by your teacher. See the attire section for specific information about each class.
- Bobby pins, hair spray, hair nets
- Extra makeup (lipstick, blush, eyeshadow) for touch-ups
- Water
- Snacks
- Tickets
When you arrive:
- Parking for rehearsal and the show will be street parking or the lot caddy corner from the school across from the Wendy's.
- Please use the theater entrance, located in the building to the right of the main entrance with the stairs. There will be signage to follow if you are unsure of where to go and our staff will be floating around to guide students or parents backstage if needed.
While you are there:
- Doors will open at 12:00pm for seating. Please bring your tickets with you so that you may be seated.
- Flash photography is NOT permitted during the show. The show is recorded by Symmetry to be shared with everyone after.
Dress Rehearsal Information

All dancers must arrive by 9:00am. Please bring all necessary shoes and accessories. Please refer to the show order and the attire section for what you should arrive in. We expect rehearsal to run for several hours. Please understand there is no scheduled end-time as it will go until every dance has been rehearsed onstage and the entire show run-through is complete. Updates about rehearsal progress will be posted on Remind, Facebook, and through email so parents have a rough estimate about when pick-up time will be. Please refer to the link below for the full information about what to bring, what to do when you arrive and during the rehearsal.
Attire
Below is a summary of the attire for each level. Please use the links for specific class information
CREATIVE MOVEMENT B/GROUPS A-F:
1. Leotard:
- Creative Movement B - light pink
- Group A - brown
- Group B - red
- Group C - white
- Group D - green
- Group E - black
- Group F - dark purple
2. Tights: pink ballet tights
3. Shoes: pink ballet shoes ONLY
4. Hair: Bun or braided into a bun
1. Top: T- shirt in assigned color (see above)
2. Bottom: form-fitting black pants (not sweatpants or jeans)
3. Shoes: black ballet shoes
COMPANY: Apprentice, Sophomore, Junior, Senior, Principle
1. Leotard: Black spaghetti strap. Please see specific class information below for any costume accessories.
2. Tights: nude (tan) tights
3. Shoes: See specific class info for shoe information. Please wear pink ballet shoes for ballet; tan tap shoes for tap; white sneakers for hip-hop; tan jazz shoes for jazz; dance paws, bare feet, or half soles for modern.
4. Hair: See specific class info for information about hair accessories.
Ticket Information
Date: Saturday, November 23rd and Sunday, November 24th

Tickets for the showcase were available for sale on Saturday, November 23rd and Sunday, November 24th. We were able to honor waitlist requests. We have the tickets in envelopes at the studio. You can pickup and pay this week. We do have some tickets still available, if anyone is interested please let us know as we won't be selling tickets at the door. We do need a physical body at the studio to purchase tickets. Tickets will cost $15. Children under 2 (who can sit on someone's lap) are free. Tickets can be purchased using cash, check, credit card or Venmo to @symmetrydancecompany. There will be a $3.00 additional charge to any credit card and Venmo payments. Tuition must be paid up to date, in order to purchase tickets.

Directions to Theater:
- The Bellarmine Theater is located in the Arts & Sciences Building to the right of the main building with the main steps. Please use the entrance for the Arts & Sciences Building.
- After you enter the Arts & Sciences Building, please follow the signage for dress rehearsal check-in. A class list will be posted so each parent and child will know which Group they are in and which classroom they are assigned to backstage. Our staff will be around if you have any questions or concerns.
- Doors for the show on Sunday, December 15th will open at 12:00pm. Please bring your tickets with you and follow the signage to the theater to be seated in your assigned ticket seats.
